Hi, and welcome to my HubPage...

A little about me... I'm a UC Bizerkeley alum, Go Bears... I have taught history in Waipahu and Barbers Point, Hawaii, managed  international land and air freight terminals in San Francisco and Oakland, and eventually owning  a winery ( Cadlolo Winery ) in Escalon,California. I am also a proud former Marine.

In 1989, while playing in a golf tournement in Rancho Mirage, I was paired with Telly Savalas, the lolipop-sucking TV detective, Kojak. After 18 holes and a couple of Ouzo's, I found myself providing personal security for Telly until he became ill with prostate cancer in 1992  ... Telly, I luvs ya baby...RIP.

I've been many things in my life, none more fulfilling and joyful than being a father.....I live in one of the most beautiful places on Earth, Northern Arizona...

I'm married to a genius. She did some of the original code for IBM in the 60's and 70's, and now teaches computer science at Yavapai College... I'm in awe of the woman. ....I have no idea what she sees in me.

I joined HubPages primarily to read and share poetry, however my interests are eclectic and you will see me commenting on many different hubs.

Live as if you will die tomorrow; Learn as if you will live forever...M. Gandhi
